1. Tour Itinerary
On arrival in Beijing airport or railway station, you will be met by our tour guide and transferred to your hotel a private car and driver. Free for the remaining of the day. You could have a rest or take a walk near the hotel.

Forbidden City (the Imperial Palace) and the
Summer Palace. Enjoy the Beijing Duck Dinner.

Square: Spreading 880
meters from north to south and 500 meters
from east to west, Tiananmen Square is a place
to hold national ceremonies and to greet foreign
leaders. The square is seated at the very
heart of Beijing in the traditional center
axis. To the north of the square is the Forbidden
City - the imperial palace during the Ming
and Qing dynasties.
City: The Forbidden City
China is a symbol of oriental culture, Established
on the basis of the Imperial PaLace of the
Ming and Qing dynasties. One cannot be counted
as having visited China if he or she has never
visited the Forbidden City of China.
Palace: The Summer Palace
is a monument to classical Chinese architecture,
in terms of both garden design and construction.
Incorporating scenes from surrounding landscapes,
it radiates not only the grandeur of an imperial
garden but also the beauty of nature shown
by Chinese architectural style.
Duck Dinner: Beijing
Roasted duck is renowned as the most delicious
food of Beijing.
Opera: Beijing Opera
is deemed the national opera of China. The
accompanying music, singing and costumes are
full of Chinese cultural facts.
Take an excursion to the
Great Wall and the Ming Tombs. See the appearance
of the Bird's Nest (Olympic National Stadium)
at a distance.
Wall Of China: One of
the seven wonders in the world and the symble
of China. The Great Wall extends to more than
Tombs: Some 50 kilometers
northwest of the downtown Beijing, the Ming
Tombs are generally combined with a visit
to the Great Wall. Otherwise known as the
"13 Tombs", this is the burial site of 13
out of 17 emperors of the Ming Dynasty.
- Kunming (Breakfast
Tour to the Temple of Heaven.
Transfer to the airport for flight to Kunming.
of Heaven: Situadet in the South-Eastern
part of Beijing, the Temple of Heaven is the
largest still existing sacrificial temple
in China. It was used as the site for imperial
sacrifices during the Ming and Qing dynasties.
It was here that the emperor conducted the
elaborate and most exalted sacrifices addressed
to "the Supreme Ruler of the Universe" to
ask for the heavens blessings and good harvest.
Stone Forest - Kunming (Breakfast
After breakfast, drive 1.5 hours (90 KM) to
visit the Stone Forest. Return to Kunming
in the afternoon.
Forest: A massive collection
of grey limestone pillars, split by rain water
and eroded to their present fanciful forms.
Take morning flight to Lijiang.
Dayan Ancient Town.
Ancient Town: It is situated
on a plateau at an elevation of 2,600m and
is impressive because of its scenery and lush
vegetation. There is no other town in China
like Lijiang which incorporates the folkways
of so many people and the architectural styles
of both north and south China.
Tour to Jade Dragon Snow
Mountain, Lijiang Murals and Ancient Shuhe
Village of Naxi people.
Dragon Snow Mountain: A
holy mountain for the Naxi people that is
located 15km north of Lijiang city with
an altitude of 5600 meters (18,400 feet)
above sea level. Visit villages of Naxi
Murals: Made in succession
from the early Ming dynasty to the reign
of Emperor Qianlong in the Qing dynasty.
These mural paintings, with their fine and
smooth lines, bright colors, vivid pattern
and balanced and harmonious composition
are a wonderful sight.
- Shangri-La / (Breakfast,
Drive 180Km to Shangri-la.
On the way, visit the Tiger Leaping Gorge
and the First bend of the Yangtze River.
Leaping Gorge: One of the longest, deepest
and narrowest gorges in the world.

reaches of the Yangtze River is named the
Jinsha River, which originates from the
Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. The Jinsha River
flowed southward along the Hengduan Mountain
ranges and was forced to the turn to north
because of the Alpine movements which caused
changes in the earth's physiognomy. When
the river reaches Shigu Township, it makes
an abrupt turn and flows further northward,
forming the rare V-shape bend.
Visit the Songzanlin Lama Temple, the Pudacuo
Scenic region (including Shudu Lake, Bita
Lake Resort and Xiaji Resort.).
Lama Temple: A typical Lama monastery.
Located at the foot of Mt. Foping, four
kilometers north of Zhongdian County, a
monastery was first built here in 1679 and
has been rebuilt many times.
Lake: A fault lake, is an intact natural
attraction with various species of flora
and fauna and, of course, picturesque landscapes.
Lake: The lake is known for its clear
water, and the peaceful environment of the
area around here. The lake abounds in unique
species of fish, with double lips and a

Take flight to Lhasa. Arrive in Lhasa,
you will be met by our guide and transferred
to your Hotel. Our guide will greet you at
the airport outside the luggage claim area,
holding a sign with your name on it. Visit
the Nietang Buddha on the way.

Tour to the Potala Palace, the Sera Monastery
and the Norbulingka.
Palace: An architecture group situated on the top of the Red Hill in Lhasa, it consists of temples, palaces, and dormitories. Covering an area of over 130,000 square meters, Potala Palace originally hosted the meditation retreat of Tibetan King Songtsen Gampo, who built the first palace there in 637. It used to be the residence of Dalai Lamas and the political center of Tibet from 1649 until 1959.
Monastery: Built in 1419, it is one of the six main monasteries of the Gelugpa of the Tibetan Buddhism. The monastery is famous for the daily spiritual debates of the monks. Covering an area of 114,946 square meters, Sera Monastery has many Buddha statues and beautiful murals in the halls.
Norbulingka: Built by the 7th Dalai Lama in 1755, it was the former summer residence of the 8th Dalai Lama. Norbulingka means Jewel Garden in Tibetan, it has an abundance of chapels, gardens, fountains, and pools as well as a variety of beautiful flowers and trees.
Tour to the Jokhang Temple, the Drepung Monastery,
the Tibet Museum and visit the Barkhor Street.
Temple: Located in the center of old Lhasa city, the monastery was first built in 647AD by Tibetan King Songtsen Gampo. It is a prime seat of the Gelugpa of the Tibetan Buddhism with many invaluable cultural relics. Every year, the Great Prayer Festival is held here. In 2000, Jokhang Temple was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Drepung Monastery: Known for its high standards in academic study, it was called the Nalanda of Tibet. Drepung Monastery was built in 1416, it currently covers an area of 250,000 square meters. In its heyday, it held as many as 7,700 monks. One of the monastery's highlights is the thangka unveiling at the Shoton Festival in August.
Tibet Museum: Covering an area of 54,000 square meters, it demonstrates a traditional Tibetan architectural style. Starting with the prehistory of Tibet, the multiple halls cover a variety of interesting exhibits: Tibetan handicrafts, costumes, jewellery, weapons and musical instruments.
Street: With a history of more than 1300 years, it is the oldest street in Lhasa. Barkhor Street is the window of Tibet, it exhibits articles showing typical Tibetan life. All kinds of interesting commodities show all aspects of Tibetan culture, economy, religion, and arts.

Take flight to Shanghai.
Visit the Yu Yuan Garden, Shanghai Old Street
and former French Concession. Have a stroll
over the Bund. Optional program in the evening:

Yuan Garden: Originally
designed in the sixteenth century, Yu Yuan
is a garden within a garden. Divided into
two parts, the outer garden contains pavilions,
rock gardens, and ponds and leads to the inner
garden, which is a smaller version of the
French Concession: A
foreign concession in Shanghai from 1849 until
1943. For much of the 20th century, the area
covered by the former French Concession remained
the premier residential and retail district
of Shanghai. Despite re-development over the
last few decades, the area retains a distinct
character, and is a popular tourist destination.
Bund: A famous waterfront
and is regarded as the symbol of Shanghai.
The bund is on the west bank of Huangpu River
and winds 1500 meters in length. The most
attractive sight which is at the west side
of the Bund are the 26 various buildings of
different architectural styles including Baroque,
Gothic, Romanesque, Classicism and the Renaissance.
Pu River: A tributary
of the Yangtze and there is plenty of traffic
on it to prove its importance. You'll see
the magnificent building skylines on both
the historic west side (the Bund), and the
modern east side (Pudong) as well as the working
area of coal boats filling barges and sending
them downriver. It's fun to see such lively
river life as well as Shanghai's amazing skyline.

If you want to cancel your booking or part of
it, you must advise us in advance. The letter
must be signed by the lead name on the booking
and once we receive it you should expect to
receive a cancellation letter within 24 hours.
If you do not then please contact us to ensure
your letter has been received.
To cover the cost of processing your cancellation
and to compensate us for the risk that we may
not be able to resell your travel arrangements,
we make a cancellation charge on the scale shown
below. The person who made the booking is responsible
for paying this charge. The size of the charge
depends on when we receive your cancellation
notice or letter or how you would like us to
deal with your payment providing that we have
received your full payment for the tours.

The quoted price contains Standard Tour Class
lodging, and we offer hotel upgrade service.
You can choose to upgrade hotel when booking,
the price will change accordingly.
Not all hotels can provide Standard Triple Room
if you want three travelers in one room, they
may arrange extra bed service. The additional
fee for an extra bed is Single Supplement, and
it is included in the final price.
Your earlier arrival to Beijing later departure
from Hong Kong can be adjusted on line; but
the extra charge is not included in the original

western standard service and breakfast. However,
