Yunnan
Tours
 |
Yunnan
is situated on a plateau in southwest China
formed with the rising of the Himalayas from
the ancient sea. In the northwest it borders
on the eastern section of the Himalayas, thus
it seems to be the last step to Tibet. In
few provinces of China is so great a diversity
of natural conditions and culture to be found
as in Yunnan. Yunnan has an unique array of
fascinating ecotourist resources, including
year-round snow-capped mountains and glaciers,
lakes and hot springs, highland landscape,
primitive forests, and tropical rain forests
where elephants and monkeys roam. In Yunnan
live 26 ethnic minority groups which give
a rich patina of diversity and color to the
Yunnan scene, contributing with their colorful
ethnic costumes, their traditional songs and
dances, to the attractive life of the cities,
the villages, the fairs and the festivals.

Guilin
Tours
 |
Guilin
is regarded in China as the country's most
picturesque city. Surrounded by jagged mountains
of limestone covered with lush evergreen foliage,
the scenery of this charming city is reminiscent
of an ancient Chinese scroll painting. The
city itself, with over 2000 years of history,
straddles the lovely Li River, and is home
to some delightful examples of traditional
Chinese architecture. A relaxing way to take
in Guilin's sights at a leisurely pace is
by taking a one day long cruise on the Lijiang
River from Guilin to Yangshuo, a picturesque
town that has become a popular destination
in itself. Whether you're an aficionado of
natural or cultural wonders, Guilin will not
disappoint. |

Silk
Road Tours
 |
Silk
Road is a trading route across the Eurasia
in the history, through which the most influential
goods freighted to the west was the silk products,
hence the name. Generally, the Silk Road refers
to the land passage initiated by Zhang Qian,
a special envoy to the Western Regions, starting
from Xi'an, passing Gansu and Xinjiang Province
in China to the Central and Western Asia and
connecting all Mediterranean countries. In
the latter half of the 19th century, the German
geographer Richthofen named this route the
"Silk Road", which has been followed to this
day. Besides this route, there emerged the
Southwestern Silk Road and the Maritime Silk
Road later. The Road has witnessed a great
number of celebrities in the history, including
the outstanding envoys Zhang Qian and Ban
Chao, famous monks including Tang Xuanzang
and Fa Xian and lots of poets, artists and
